What it actually does

Journey assistant
Hindi, Hinglish or English — typed or spoken. It reads the date, the two stations and even a budget, and says out loud what it assumed rather than guessing quietly.
Running status
Where the train is now, the delay, the platform and the next stop. When a train number has two runs on the rails at once, it asks which one is yours instead of picking.
Seat availability
Per train, per class, per quota — with the waitlist position and the railway's own chance of confirming, for the next six departures. A waitlist today is often confirmed by Friday.
Indicative pricing
Every class a train is actually priced in, with the distance the fare was quoted over — so a figure that differs from another app can be explained rather than argued about.
Schedule & station board
Halt-by-halt times, distances and day changes; and what is due at a station over the next few hours, live from the railway rather than from a timetable.

Tripzo does not sell tickets
Reservations go through IRCTC, which needs its own account and its own payment relationship. Tripzo hands you to their site with the train, the leg and the date in front of you — it does not pretend to book on your behalf.
Fares and availability are indicative
They come from licensed railway data and are shown in the provider's own wording. The number at the counter is the number that counts.
Hotel prices are the hotel site's
A price quoted in another currency is converted to rupees so the two can be compared at all; you are charged whatever the site you book on charges.
